Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and appropriate medication use for patients.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and drug interactions
- Provide professional counseling to patients on medication use
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies
- Manage inventory and maintain proper storage of drugs
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient medication records.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D
- Valid practicing license
- Minimum of 5 years hospital experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
