Pharmacy Technician at Pinehealth Wellness Pharmacy

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM (Alternate Days)

Reports To: Superintendent Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pinehealth Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, excellent customer service, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Receive, verify, and process prescriptions accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering medication-related inquiries within professional limits and referring complex questions to the pharmacist.
• Manage inventory: check stock levels, restock shelves, and report shortages or near-expiry drugs.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and controlled drugs as required.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all medications.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dispensary and customer service area.
• Support the pharmacist in administrative duties, including documentation and report preparation.
• Comply with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Pharmacy Technician Certificate or equivalent qualification (recognized by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a community pharmacy (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and dispensing procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and pay attention to detail.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, pharmacy software).
• Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
