Job Description
- Host podcast episodes fully or partly in Pidgin English
- Conduct engaging interviews with guests from different walks of life
- Translate complex or formal topics into simple, relatable Pidgin conversations
- Bring energy, humor, and authenticityto every recording
- Collaborate with the production team on content ideas and episode direction
- Record short-form content (reels, clips, street-style interviews)
- Drive conversations that reflect positive, inspiring, and uplifting Nigerian stories
- Maintain strong audience engagement through storytelling and personality
- Represent the Goodnews Naija brand voice across audio and video formats
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning
Requirements:
- Fluent in Naija Pidgin English(must sound natural, not forced)
- Strong personality with excellent communication skills
- Confident on camera and/or behind the mic
- Naturally engaging, humorous, and relatable
- Passionate about positive storytelling and Nigerian narratives
