Job Description
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prourement officer to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire purchasing cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts, placing orders, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of goods/services, while maintaining strong vendor relations, controlling budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Timely procurement and delivery of high quality electromechanical and building products used in the maintenance of a high-rise building
- Negotiate the best deals for pricing and supply conracts
- Preparing of Purchase Orders.
- Review and analyse all vendors, suppliers, supply option and prices
- Ensure delivery of procured items.
- Dealings with suppliers, manufacturers and vendors as regards quality electromechanical and building products used in the maintenance of a high-rise building facility.
- Any other related job.
Relevant Work Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
