Job Description

Plan, organise, and manage daily production operations in steel fabrication and trailer assembly.
Supervise and coordinate welders, fabricators, fitters, and assembly teams.
Ensure production schedules are met without compromising quality or safety.
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to guide production.
Oversee material procurement, inventory, and usage to minimise waste.
Implement and enforce safety standards and compliance with industry regulations.
Monitor equipment performance, schedule maintenance, and minimise downtime.
Conduct quality checks on fabricated steel components and finished trailers.
optimize workflow, manpower, and machine utilization for maximum productivity.
Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for production staff.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and procurement teams to improve processes.
Track production costs, prepare reports, and support budget control measures.
Ensure timely delivery of projects to clients while maintaining high workmanship standards.
