Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership, coordination, and management of humanitarian programs in line with CENSCOPE strategy and donor requirements.
  • Ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities.
  • Manage program budgets, work plans, and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Lead and supervise program staff, fostering teamwork, capacity building, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, organizational policies, and humanitarian core standards.
  • Coordinate with donors, government counterparts, UN agencies, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities, and propose adaptive management solutions.
  • Contribute to proposal development, needs assessments, and strategic planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in
    Project Management, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field
    (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of
    5–8 years’ relevant experience
    , with at least
    3 years in a project or program management role
    within humanitarian settings.
  • Strong knowledge donor compliance, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
  • Excellent knowledge of the humanitarian principles and practices
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Confidentiality, integrity, and a sense of conflict-of-interest prevention.
