Purchasing Manager at Total Data Limited

We are seeking to recruit a highly skilledPurchasing Manager for our client in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement process, ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with company objectives.

Strategic Procurement:

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet business needs.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory levels.

Supplier Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and favorable terms with suppliers.
• Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.

Cost Control:

• Monitor and manage procurement costs.
• Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Identify areas for cost optimization.

Inventory Control:

• Maintain optimal stock levels.
• Minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.

• Achieve measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet operational needs.
