Quality Assurance Manager at Sacvin Nigeria Limited

We seek a seasoned QA/QC professional

tomanage and maintain product quality objectives, ensure that standards are within regulatory requirements, and document all processes while maximising management and customer satisfaction.

• Drive the implementation of organisation-wide quality control and ISO processes, including Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Prepare and drive the implementation of the annual Quality Control Plan for the plant.
• Ensure that production quality control processes are implemented in line with agreed-upon procedures and guidelines.
• Supervise laboratory operations to ensure precision in the sample testing process for raw materials, intermediate products, final products, and appropriate calibration of equipment.
• Ensure all set product quality targets are met, and deviations from target quality standards are promptly identified and rectified.
• Coordinate the weaning and pilling of raw materials and control of chemical parameters.
• Support the Plant Manager in ensuring the final product meets quality specifications and agreed standards.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on laboratory equipment and effective housekeeping is conducted in the laboratories.
• Prepare an annual calibration schedule and ensure calibration is carried out on laboratory equipment as scheduled.
• Manage the interface between the QA/QC function and other relevant departments within the plant.
• Provide overall guidance, leadership and strategic direction to the plant QA/ QC team.
• Provide periodic reports on the activities and performance of the plant QA/ QC function for the attention of the Plant Head and Group Production Head.
• Perform any other duties that the Plant Head may assign.
• Liaise with the government agency regarding statutory compliance

Working Knowledge of plastic manufacturing production is key

• Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior levels of management.
• Excellent management skills, with the ability to identify and track product procedures and documentation along with regulatory requirements.
• Strong management, administration and leadership skills to manage resources and processes.
• Passionate, energetic and maintain a positive attitude.

Bachelor‘s Degree in any science-related field 

Professional membership and certification in relevant and recognised institutions

7+ years, Experience in Quality Assurance/Control in Plastic production
