Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging music lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and instructional guidelines.
- Teach students music theory, fostering both creativity and technical ability.
- Organize and supervise the school’s choir, encouraging teamwork and performance excellence.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students can explore and express their musical talents.
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods, technologies, and resources to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
- A strong practicing Spirit-filled Christian, with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching music at the secondary school level.
- Solid understanding of music theory and performance.
- Passion for nurturing students’ creativity and appreciation for music.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, colleagues, and parents.
