Job Description
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division Degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years post-NYSC experience.
- Proficiency in the design of roads, drainage systems, and culverts.
- Expertise in analysing flows in pipe networks, including stormwater drainage, water distribution, and sewage reticulation.
- Experience in designing Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Sanitary Treatment Plants (STP).
- Proficient use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for road design, pipe networks, design calculations, and material measurements.
- Competence in hydraulic design software such as EPANET, SSA, and HY-8.
- Knowledge of Revit software is an added advantage.
- Ability to use GIS applications (e.g., Google Earth, Global Mapper, and ESRI platforms) to support design processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for assigned tasks.
