About the job

The Senior Project Architect is responsible for leading architectural design and execution across assigned projects, ensuring that all architectural works are delivered in line with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, coordination, and review of architectural designs from concept through construction and handover.
Ensure all architectural drawings, details, and specifications comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Resolve complex design and site-related architectural issues.
Provide architectural supervision on site to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate architectural activities with structural, MEP, and other consultants to avoid clashes and delays.
Monitor progress of architectural works and support project planning and sequencing.
Ensure architectural works meet required quality standards and specifications.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to close out snags and defects.
Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, building regulations, and safety standards.
Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning where required.
Supervise and mentor junior architects in the company.
Support value engineering initiatives without compromising design intent or quality.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Full professional registration with relevant regulatory body (e.g., ARCON or equivalent).
Minimum of
10 years
relevant work experience, with significant experience on large-scale commercial and residential construction projects.
Proven experience in leading architectural design and site implementation.
Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, etc.).
Good understanding of project management principles.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
