We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality control and assurance in our construction projects.
The successful candidate will develop and implement quality control plans, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, including quality control principles, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and checklists for construction projects.
Ensure quality control plans align with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections of construction work, including materials, equipment, and workmanship.
Perform or oversee testing of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications.
Collaborate with construction teams to rectify defects and ensure corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
Provide regular quality reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant construction industry regulations, standards, and codes
Stay up-to-date with changes to regulations and standards.
Work closely with construction teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
Communicate quality issues and concerns effectively.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance quality control.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in QA/QC engineering in construction (12+ years).
Strong knowledge of construction quality control principles, industry standards, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Membership in relevant professional bodies is an added advantage (e.g. COREN, MNSE)
Experience with quality management software and tools (e.g., QMS, QMIS).
Knowledge of construction industry-specific software (e.g., Autodesk, Revit).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
