Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure alignment with architectural drawings, specifications, and project timelines
- Lead and supervise on-site teams, including masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and laborers, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, design adherence, and compliance with building codes and regulations
- Review and interpret architectural designs and technical specifications to guide construction teams and resolve design-related challenges
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site, conduct safety briefings, and maintain incident logs
- Monitor material usage, track site expenditures, and maintain an inventory of tools and equipment to ensure cost-effective practices
- Prepare daily site reports detailing progress, challenges, safety incidents, and maintain comprehensive documentation, including as-built records.
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Technical Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings, structural plans, and technical specifications
- Knowledge of construction management software (AutoCAD, MS Project) and building codes
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to work on active construction sites in varying conditions
