Description

We are seeking experienced, disciplined, and technically sound professionals to join our construction and operations team. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in property development and large-scale construction projects, particularly those who have worked with reputable firms such as ITB Nigeria Limited, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, Cappa & D’Alberto Plc, Vita Construction Limited, CCECC, or similar organizations.

Responsibilities

Operate stationary concrete pumps for concrete placement on construction sites
Set up, prime, and monitor pumping equipment before and during concrete pours
Coordinate with batching plant operators and site teams to ensure smooth concrete flow
Monitor pressure and flow rates to prevent blockages or equipment failure
Carry out routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of pump lines and accessories
Identify and report mechanical faults or safety issues immediately
Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with site safety standards
Maintain pumping logs and operational records
Support timely and efficient concrete placement in line with project schedules.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of SSCE / OND or Trade Test certification
Valid concrete pump operator certification or relevant training
Minimum of 5 - 8 years experience operating stationary concrete pumps in construction projects
Strong knowledge of concrete pumping techniques and safety procedures
Experience working with batching plants and site engineers
Ability to work under pressure during major concrete pours
Prior experience with reputable construction firms is a strong advantage.
