Job Description
Job Summary
- The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient management of all pharmaceutical and veterinary product stocks in Diversay Solutions Limited.
- The role ensures proper receipt, storage, issuance, documentation, and security of vaccines, medicines, and other supplies in compliance with inventory standards, quality guidelines, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock (vaccines, pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, and materials).
- Ensure proper storage conditions, especially for temperature-sensitive items such as vaccines.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management when reordering is required.
- Maintain accurate stock records (manual and electronic) for accountability and traceability.
- Implement First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation principles.
Issuance & Distribution:
- Prepare and issue products to sales and operations teams against authorized requisitions.
- Ensure all items are packed, labeled, and transported in compliance with product handling standards.
- Keep records of all issues, transfers, and returns of stock.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to Good Storage Practices (GSP) for pharmaceuticals and veterinary supplies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, veterinary regulatory standards, and health & safety guidelines.
- Report any damaged, expired, or non-conforming items to management immediately.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Update stock ledgers, bin cards, and ERP/inventory software regularly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
- Ensure audit readiness by maintaining proper documentation of stock movements.
Store Organization & Safety:
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized store environment.
- Ensure security measures are in place to prevent theft, pilferage, or stock loss.
- Enforce safety and biosecurity protocols in handling veterinary pharmaceutical products.
Qualifications & Experience
- OND/HND/B.Sc in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Science-related field, or equivalent.
- 2–4 years’ experience in storekeeping, preferably in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, or FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical storage standards and stock control systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with inventory software/ERP systems preferred.

- Basic knowledge of stock audits and reconciliation.
