Job Description
Job Summary
- The Supply Chain & Procurement Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
- The role ensures cost efficiency, quality assurance, timely delivery, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the entire supply chain process from planning to delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability where necessary.
- Coordinate demand planning and forecasting with relevant departments.
- Ensure efficient warehousing and distribution processes.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, engineering, HR) to meet organizational needs.
Cost Control & Optimization:
- Analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Track and report on procurement and supply chain KPIs.
Risk & Compliance Management:
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain and procurement team.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Professional certification in supply Chain Management or Procurement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain roles in the EPIC industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
