Job Description

Job Summary

The Technical Assistant Engineer will support business operations by providing on-site technical services at building and construction sites while generating qualified leads to support sales execution. The role requires strong field engagement, basic technical knowledge, and effective collaboration with the Field Sales team to drive timely business fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit construction and building sites within assigned locations to provide required technical support and services.
  • Identify, generate, and document potential business leads during site visits.
  • Handover qualified leads to Field Sales Agents for fulfilment and closure.
  • Ensure all generated leads are valid, required by clients, and capable of being fulfilled within seventy-two (72) hours.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits, leads generated, and activities carried out.
  • Support the Field Sales Manager in executing field-related technical and operational tasks.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by management in line with business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of
    HND or Bachelor’s degree
    in
    Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management
    , or any
    construction-related discipline
    .
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, building materials, and site operations.
  • Previous field, site, or technical support experience is an added advantage.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and engage clients professionally on-site.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and willing to work extensively in the field.
  • Willingness to travel and work across different locations within Nigeria as required.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and adaptability to changing work schedules.
