Technical Drawing / Introductory Technology Teacher at IBBA 36 Global Concept

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Technical Drawing / Introductory Technology Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive instruction to students at the secondary level, covering both theoretical principles and practical applications of the subjects. This role is crucial in laying the foundation for students who wish to pursue careers in engineering, architecture, and other technical fields.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for Technical Drawing and Introductory Technology, in line with the Nigerian national curriculum.
• Teach students the fundamental principles of technical drawing, including geometric constructions, orthographic projections, isometric drawings, and sectional views.
• Guide students in the proper use of technical drawing tools and equipment.
• Provide a strong foundation in Introductory Technology, covering topics such as metalwork, woodwork, applied electricity, and basic electronics.
• Supervise and manage practical workshop sessions, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their progress to ensure mastery of skills.
• Organize and prepare students for external examinations and technology-related competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades.

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Fine and Applied Arts (with a focus on Technical Drawing), or a related field.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
• A minimum of two (2) years of
  post-NYSC teaching experience
  in a reputable secondary school.
• Proven expertise and a strong understanding of both Technical Drawing and Introductory Technology.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is a significant advantage.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• A genuine passion for practical and technical education.
