Job Description
The Telecom Direct Sales Intern will support the direct sales team in promoting and selling telecom products and services such as SIM cards, data plans, voice bundles, fixed wireless, and value-added services. This role provides hands-on field sales experience and practical exposure to customer acquisition in a fast-paced telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively market and sell telecom products through field and direct sales activities
- Identify and approach prospective customers in assigned locations
- Educate customers on available telecom plans, promotions, and benefits
- Assist in customer onboarding, SIM activation, and documentation processes
- Meet daily and weekly sales targets set by the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer feedback
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product briefings
- Support market penetration and brand visibility initiatives
- Adhere to company sales policies and compliance guidelines
Requirements & Qualifications
- OND, HND, or BSc students/recent graduates in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related fields
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and telecommunications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to work in a field sales environment
- Basic understanding of sales principles is an advantage
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
