Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled
Contract UI/UX Designer
to revamp both the public-facing website and private (authenticated) user dashboards of
uwanaconnect.com
. The ideal candidate will deliver intuitive, user-centred designs that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall product experience across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Redesign Platform Interfaces:
Redesign and improve the UI/UX of public and private web pages, including dashboards and authenticated user flows.
User-Centred Design:
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user needs and business goals.
Consistency & Accessibility:
Ensure visual consistency, usability, and accessibility standards across the platform.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to deliver implementation-ready designs.
Design Optimisation:
Review existing designs and recommend improvements that enhance engagement, conversion, and usability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience, with 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design.
Proven experience designing modern web applications, platforms, or dashboards
Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX redesign or product design projects
Proficiency in design tools such as
Figma, Sketch, or similar
Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and responsive design
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines
