Veterinary Doctor (Ibadan) at Fisem Integrated Services

The Veterinary Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical and supportive laboratory services with emphasis on poultry health management and small animal medicine. The role requires strong diagnostic capability, hands-on clinical expertise, client advisory competence, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision while maintaining professional standards and teamwork.

• Diagnose and manage poultry disease cases of poultry farms.
• Provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures for small animals.
• Contribute to routine laboratory investigations through result interpretation and development of effective treatment plans.
• Provide professional advisory services to poultry farm clients and pet owners.
• Educate clients on disease prevention, nutrition, vaccination schedules, and best management practices
• Maintain accurate clinical records and case documentation.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and professional ethics.
• Contribute to business growth initiatives within the division.
• Work collaboratively with team members across departments.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from a recognized institution.
• Valid practicing license.
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience.
• Proven hands-on experience in  poultry clinical practice and small animal medicine
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Impeccable character and high level of integrity.
• Demonstrated passion and personal drive for veterinary practice.
• Ability to work with little supervision and deliver results.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively within a team.
• Good report writing and documentation skills.
