Job Description
- Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and accurately record their gross and tare weights.
- Enter all relevant data into the weighbridge system, such as product details and truck information
- Issue weigh-in tickets or offloading advice slips to truck drivers.
- Receive and retain all necessary documentation, such as waybills, for record-keeping
- Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports on weighbridge activities and highlight any unresolved issues for supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular inspections of weighbridge equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Ensure that the weighing process adheres to site rules, industry standards, and health and safety regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration or its equivalent.
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Computer savvy.
