Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate company vehicles for business-related transportation.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition at all times.
- Plan routes and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Perform basic vehicle checks, including fuel levels, oil, tires, and brakes, and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Drive staff or goods to and from designated locations promptly.
- Maintain accurate trip records, including mileage and fuel usage.
- Regularly inspect vehicles and schedule maintenance or repairs when needed.
- Collaborate with the company’s team to fulfill transport needs effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of professional driving experience.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
- Must live within the Maitama axis. Knowledge of Abuja roads and routes.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Resides within or near the Utako axis for proximity to work.
