Job Summary
- We are seeking a data-driven, growth-oriented Product Marketing Specialist to lead our product marketing efforts and drive cross-selling between our different product lines, ensuring every learner journey delivers maximum lifetime value and meets business objectives.
- This role combines growth marketing, product positioning, and funnel optimizationto acquire high-quality leads online, increase conversions, and ensure existing customers engage with multiple AltSchool Africa's offerings.
- You will work closely with the product, sales, and customer success teams to design and execute campaigns that boost acquisition and revenue.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital lead generation strategies across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, SEO, email, and other channels.
- Create targeted campaigns for each learner persona and stage of the funnel.
- Optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and lead forms for conversion rate improvement.
- Map learner journey touchpoints to identify cross-sell opportunities between Diploma, nano diplomas, and Launchpad.
- Design email drip sequences, in-app campaigns, and retargeting ads to encourage product adoption beyond the first purchase.
- Track learner engagement to trigger timely cross-sell recommendations.
- Craft positioning and messaging frameworks for each product and ensure consistent storytelling across channels.
- Develop product launch plans and GTM strategies for new courses or programs.
- Create marketing assets, including sales decks, landing pages, ad copy, and promotional content.
- Conduct A/B testing across channels and continuously iterate for better performance.
Requirements
Must have:
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or digital acquisition.
- Proven track record of lead generation and conversion optimization in an edtech, SaaS, or B2C environment.
- Strong understanding of funnel marketing, performance metrics, and marketing automation tools.
- Skilled in running paid campaigns (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok) and using analytics platforms.
- Experience in cross-selling strategies and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Excellent copywriting and messaging skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with product, sales, and content teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in African markets with multi-country campaigns.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Customerio, Salesforce, or similar).
- Ability to run paid online campaigns.
