Job Description
Responsibilities
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
- Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
- Provide legal guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Manage and resolve employment litigation and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Oversee internal investigations related to HR issues.
- Develop and implement HR-related legal strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Human Resource Departmentand management on employee relations matters.
- Draft and review employment contracts and other legal documents with keen focus on legal precision, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct training sessions on legal aspects of HR for staff members.
- Oversee Drafting, Review, and Negotiations when necessary.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law and must have been called to the Bar.
- Must have at least 2 (two) years ofcombined experience in HR and legal roles.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Sound understanding of the HR functionand best practices.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and individually.
