Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and providing cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying
- RQS/NIQS membership preferred
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., ProEst, Buildsoft)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage bills of quantities, cost plans, and procurement documents
- Conduct site measurements and surveys to monitor project progress
- Analyze and report on project costs, identifying areas for cost savings
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Assist in tendering and procurement processes
- Prepare and submit claims and valuations
