Job Description
Job Summary
- Our client, an interior design company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee interior design projects from concept to completion.
- The ideal candidate will coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, liaise with clients and vendors, and ensure projects are delivered to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
- This role requires strong organisational skills, site coordination experience, and a passion for design execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage interior design projects from planning and design phase through execution and final handover.
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and work plans, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to supervise installations, quality of work, and adherence to design specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the project team, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure materials, furniture, and fittings are delivered on schedule and installed correctly.
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or site challenges proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures on project sites.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and completion documentation for management and clients.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Building Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in project coordination or management, preferably within interior design, construction, or fit-out projects.
- Basic understanding of interior design processes, materials, and site execution.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and client management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools or design software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
