Job Description
Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth.
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales or business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals and expand the company’s customer base.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new market and partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align efforts and deliver customer value.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company and generate leads.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3 - 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities and close deals.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
- Industry-specific knowledge is a plus (e.g., SaaS, healthcare, finance, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing network in the target industry or market.
- Experience with contract negotiation and proposal development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for growth and innovation.
