Job Description

Job Summary

  • The Social Media Marketing Officer is responsible for building and maintaining a powerful digital presence for the organization. This role goes beyond content creation; it requires a strategic marketer who can blend professional storytelling with data-driven engagement to position the company as a thought leader in sectors like Fintech, Financial Services, and HR Outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Brand Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with corporate growth goals.
  • Ensure brand consistency in tone, "vibe," and visual aesthetics across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook).
  • Position the company’s leadership as industry experts through structured thought-leadership content.

Content Creation & Storytelling:

  • Create high-quality, engaging content including graphics, short-form videos (Reels/TikToks for B2B), and long-form articles.
  • Write compelling copy for posts, newsletters, and digital ads that resonates with C-suite executives and corporate partners.
  • Manage a content calendar that balances promotional, educational, and engagement-driven posts.

Digital Engagement & Lead Generation:

  • Proactively engage with followers, industry influencers, and prospective clients to build a community.
  • Implement social media campaigns specifically designed for lead generation and conversion.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the company remains "contemporary and credible."

Analytics & Optimization:

  • Track and report on key metrics (Reach, Engagement Rate, Click-Through Rate, and Conversions).
  • Use data insights to continuously optimize content performance and ad spend (if applicable).
  • Provide monthly reports to management on digital ROI and brand sentiment.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Social Media Marketing, preferably within a B2B or Professional Services environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with social media management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Email Marketing (Mailchimp/Lemlist) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional written English, creative storytelling ability, and a "data-first" mindset.
