Job Description
- The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with compliance and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely
- Support bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews
- Support payroll preparation and statutory deductions where required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years relevant accounting or finance experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ICAN/ACCA (or in progress) is an added advantage
