This role executes welding tasks according to approved procedures and drawings, ensuring high-quality welds through inspections, adherence to SOPs, and compliance with safety standards.
Job Details
- Interpret fabrication drawings and perform welding as specified.
- Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely.
- Inspect welds to confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Recommend design improvements for efficiency.
- Maintain safety protocols in all welding operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/HND in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering industry Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, welding techniques, and safety risks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interpret drawings.
