Job Description
Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilities Manager located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Facilities Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of various facilities to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Daily tasks include supervising maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing budgets, and negotiating contracts with service providers.
- The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for coordinating and overseeing property upgrades and renovations, implementing energy-saving measures, and responding to occupant requests and complaints.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with over 5 years in Experience in Facilities Management
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and compliance
- Budgeting and Financial Management skills
- Strong Communication and Negotiation skills
- Project Management and Coordination skills
- Problem-solving and Decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Professional certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) is a plus
- Experience in the residential estates is beneficial.
