Job Description
Role Summary
- The Senior Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategies, and managing operations across Lagos, South West, and Eastern Nigeria, including Benin, Onitsha, and Enugu.
- The role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of regional markets and strong analytical and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies tailored to each market.
- Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of regional sales targets.
- Lead, coach, and manage Territory Sales Managers and field sales representatives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution, competition, and field performance.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and promotional activities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in regional sales management, preferably within the FMCG (Drinks)
- Strong understanding of the Lagos, South West, and Eastern commercial landscapes.
- Proficiency in reporting, sales analysis, and use of data to drive strategy.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
